TEHRAN – Iranians took to the streets across the country on Friday to praise Tehran’s retaliation against Israel which took place after the regime struck the West Asian nation’s embassy in Damascus.

People held placards and chanted slogans in Tehran, Esfahan, Tabriz, Ardabil, Hamedan, Qom, and several other cities, thanking the Iranian armed forces for what they perceived as the appropriate response to Israeli aggressions. They also called for an end to the regime’s genocidal attacks in the besieged Gaza Strip, which have taken the lives of over 34,000 Palestinians in the past 7 months.

Iran carried out a large-scale drone and missile attack against the occupied territories on Saturday evening and the early hours of Sunday. The attack called the biggest against Israel in history, managed to precisely hit three heavily fortified military bases inside occupied Palestine. The U.S., UK, France, and Jordan also helped the regime intercept the projectiles.
